Saints prepping for new season

Santa Ana High’s boys soccer team held its first scrimmage November 3rd against JSerra.

The Saints pulled out a 2-0 win with both goals coming from junior striker Bryan Cisneros.

Cisneros said that he could have done better by passing the ball more. “ We will go pretty far this season,” he added.

Goalie Randy Guerrero stopped the opposing team from scoring any goals and said “we performed really well. The season is going to be great. It will be amazing.”

Alfredo Ceja, who plays center mid, said, “we played pretty good. Could have kept the ball more to do better.” He added, “The season will go great, we might lose a couple and win others.”

The Saints will host Loyola at the Santa Ana Bowl on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
