The 4th annual Back-to-School ‘Saints Giving Boutique’ was held at Santa Ana High on August 3 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Every year the school hosts a back to school boutique where students can pick up clothes, shoes, school supplies, backpacks, hygiene products, and more.
In addition to access to all of the donated items, parents and students had the opportunity for free haircuts from local barbers who donated their time. The only requirement was a school ID.
Donations were obtained for weeks ahead of the event, ensuring the students would have lots to pick from.
Patricia Sanchez, a parent, said “Most of us have more than two kids and we barely could afford food or supplies and this Back-to-School Boutique helps us as a parent a lot.”
Sophomore Emily Ruvalcaba added, “A lot of people are not financially stable since Covid happened, so this helps them a lot.”
Keep an eye out for future boutiques throughout the year. Last year’s Prom Boutique offered dresses, suits, shoes, makeup, haircuts, manicures, and more.
