On Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students, parents, faculty and community can support AVID’s Shoe Drive by dropping off and donating new or gently used (no holes) shoes.
They can be dropped off in front of Santa Ana High’s main gate, and can be walk-up or drive-up. All sizes and styles are welcomed.
If people want a specific student recognized in order to receive community service hours, names must be written down and submitted.
Help AVID reach its goal of 2500 pairs of shoes to donate to impoverished communities. Donations will be accepted through the end of October.
