On Friday, Jan. 10, the Spring Elective Fair was held during lunch at Plaza del Sol. There were balloons, music playing, and tables showcasing many of the electives and programs available at Santa Ana High.
One of the programs highlighted was Halos Extended Learning. Halos had prizes students could win by playing. The prizes were halos merchandise like pins, notebooks, stickers, wallest and sweaters.
There were sign-up sheets for Palomazo academy, boxing club, Polynesian club, and more, welcome to all students.
Another program highlighted was NJROTC. There was a sign-up sheet and the table displayed trophies the group has won, along with all their uniforms. Members talked to students about their experience. Sharon Lopez said “NJROTC is a military program which offers leadership and discipline and training for anyone who wants to join.” They also gave out stickers.
The art department was also represented, displaying the different levels of art classed available. They gave out candy and showcased some their creations.
